MESSAGE FROM THE DESK OF THE CEO-AFRICA CRICKET ASSOCIATION

Welcome to one and all to the ACA T20 Africa Cup Finals and to the host nation South Africa. The city of Ekhurleni is a vibrant modern city where the old meets the new. The arrival of the eight nations who will compete in this event are eager to display top class cricket and will compete at the highest level to ensure to annex the cup and claim the championship of this tournament.

It has been a long hard fought road to reach to this destination in South Africa the qualifiers that was stage throughout Africa was done so in good sprit and sportsmanship may it last into the finals of this tournament. This event is the flagship of the ACA and needs to be played going into the future thus giving opportunities to the members to compete at the highest level this tournament has set a bench mark for the younger generations of cricketers to inspire them to play the game at the highest level with-in the structures of the ACA.

On behalf of the Chairperson and the Executive Directors of the ACA Board in conjunction with the management and staff we would like to pass on our sincere thanks and appreciation to Eastern Cricket Union who accepted to host this prestigious event on behalf of the ACA. We also extend our gratitude to the Local Organization Committee headed by its chairman Mr Hester Khan and his team we are confident that they will deliver a successful event. We like to place on record our thanks to the match official who is headed by the match referee Mr Dev Govindjee for making their time for facilitate in this tournament our sincere thanks and appreciation.

To the fans of cricket enjoy the games and thank you for your attendance which is much appreciated. To all the participating teams we wish you good luck in your endeavors to compete in this event, may you play the game in the true spirit of sportsmanship let friendship be the order of the day and may you take fond memories back home. To all the International guest and visitors as well as the participating teams who has traveled from afar travel safe and God speed back home.
