Cameroon is often referred to as Africa in miniature, and for good reason. Seated on the gulf of Guinea, it prides of amazing forests, wide shorelines and amazing grass-fields and other gifts of nature like the captivating Lobe falls. Its tourist attractions are many and its people, hospitable.
In addition to its bilingual nature, the country has over 250 different ethnic groups, diversity being its spice. Cameroon remains a force to reckon with on the international sports scene in many disciplines.

The Cameroon national team otherwise referred to as Cricket Indomitable Lions represent the country in men’s international cricket and Cricket Indomitable lionesses for the women’s international cricket. It is governed by the Cameroon Cricket Federation (FECACRICKET) which is an Associate member of the International Cricket Council. Founded in 1995, the Federation started Cricket in Cameroon from scratch and has tremendously done so well in developing the game in the country within the few years of its existence. Despite the difficult terrain, the young Federation now boasts of 12 senior men’s teams and 10 senior women’s teams amongst many schools playing cricket, a development programme, a pathway development plan for both male & female cricketers, Junior youth cricket activities and many other initiatives.
